BSS is undertaking training in heath service sector, under the vocational education programmes, as a support service to the society. This training programme aims at equipping the trainees to become good community Health Worker who can provide better service in every nook and corner of the rural society, which are facing severe health problems and lack of better health services. In concurrence with this policy of BSS, the training programmes in health sector is being imparted by BSS thoughout the nation through its training centres. Theses trained persons will work in the community as a HEALTH FACILITATORS in various sectors for creating health awareness, knowledge of healthy environment, health and hygiene, first aid, prevention of diseases, provide appropriate treatment in emergency situations. The trainees will have job opportunities in the community or hospitals setting such as in hospitals, nursing homes and health clubs. Trainee can start his own Health Centre.

भारत सेवक समाज द्वारा चलाये जा रहे प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम व्यावसायिक शिक्षा अन्तर्गत समाज को स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं उपलब्ध कराई जा रही है। प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रमों का मुख्य उद्देश्य शिक्षार्थियों को एक कुशल स्वास्थ्य कार्यकर्ता तैयार करना है जो समाज के प्रत्येक तबके जिनको को कि स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं उपलब्ध नहीं है, को बेहतर स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं उपलब्ध करा सके। भारत सेवक समाज के इसी उद्देश्य को पूरा करने के लिये पूरे देश में इसके स्वास्थ्य प्रशिक्षण संस्थानों के द्वारा स्वास्थ्य प्रशिक्षण कोर्सेज संचालित किये जा रहे है। ये प्रशिक्षित लोग समुदाय में विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में स्वास्थ्य प्रदाता के रूप में कार्य कर सकेगें तथा स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता, स्वस्थ पर्यावरण स्वास्थ्य तथा स्वास्थ्य विज्ञान और आपातकालीन स्थितियों में प्राथमिक उपचार व उपयुक्त चिकित्सा उपलब्ध करा सकेंगे। इस पाठ्यक्रम को सफलता पूर्वक पूर्ण करने के पश्चात शिक्षार्थियों को अस्पतालों, नर्सिंग होमों तथा स्वास्थ्य क्लवों आदि में कार्य करने के अवसर भी प्राप्त होगें साथ ही शिक्षार्थी स्वयं का स्वास्थ्य केन्द्र मी खोल सकते है।
