It is expected that this programme will be able to train and prepare skilled Health Workers. Theses trained persons will work in the community as a MULTIPURPOSE HEALTH WORKER/FACILITATORS for creating health awareness, knowledge of healthy environment, health and hygiene, first aid, prevention of diseases, provide appropriate treatment in emergency situations. The trainees will work not only rural but also urban where 'There are no medical facilities fully developed". The trainees will have job opportunities as an assistant/health worker in the community or hospitals setting such as in hospitals, nursing homes and health clubs.

The main aim of this is to train the 'Ayurvedic Technicians' to fulfill the requirement in various sectors of Ayurveda. After passing this course, the trainees will have job opportunities as a Ayurvedic Technicians or equivalent in the Ayurvedic Pharmacies, Herb Collection Centres, Ayurvedic Hospitals, Panchkarma Units and numerous individual vaidyas. |
